The application form for long-term or permanent Czech residency is for non-EU citizens to apply for specific residence permits. These include:
Long-term residence permit for family reunification
Long-term residence permit for student residency
Long-term residence permit for other types of residency (non-EU citizen)
Permanent residency for non-EU citizens
Submit applications for long-term residency either at a Czech embassy or through the Ministry of Interior (MOI) Office.
You can apply for Czech Permanent Residency for EU Citizens and EU Citizens’ Family Members after a period of continuous stay in the country. This period is either after 2 years, or after 5 years. It depends on if the couple is legally married, and also the residency status of the EU / Czech citizen (not the non-EU partner / spouse). If the EU / Czech citizen has permanent residency / citizenship, their spouse can apply for permanent residency after 2 years. This does not apply to Partner / Partnership Visa holders, or EU citizens on temporary residency. In their case, 5 years of continuous stay in the country is necessary to qualify for permanent residency.
