Here, you must inform the office that you are pausing or canceling a Živno. Reporting changes is possible at any branch, and the office will provide a confirmation letter of any changes.
To cancel or pause your trade license, you must provide a valid passport, application form, ICO number, and support documents.
Go to the local Social Tax Office to cancel your registration to Czech social taxes.
Czech health insurance must be canceled at your medical insurance provider’s office: VZP, OZP, PVZP, etc.
The Zivno Trade License does not cancel automatically. This means that when you finish a project, lose work, or move back to your home country, you should cancel or pause the license. You should also notify and cancel with social security, health insurance, and social tax if applicable. Failing to do so will incur debt, as you are expected to make payments even with zero income or when not living in the country.
